Lore Magazine

Lore is a magazine I created for my Publication Design class. Our main objective was to design two spreads for the feature story of our choosing. I find personal empowerment in the rich family values Chicanos have as well as their roots specifically pertaining to the Chicana political movement. This being a subculture in Japan really fascinated me and led me to also immerse myself in researching the popular lowrider culture in Japan. For my feature story spread, I really wanted to convey many aspects of Chicano culture while also incorporating handwritten type to emulate real graffiti.
